Northwood Farm is a private, 18-stall self-care boarding facility located in the Hickory Flat area of Woodstock, Georgia. Northwood is designed for owners who prefer to manage their own horses. We offer a well-maintained, thoughtfully laid-out property with the space, infrastructure, and quiet setting needed for day-to-day horse care. As horse people ourselves, we care deeply about maintaining a property that feels both functional and enjoyable to spend time in.
Northwood offers spacious pastures, well-kept amenities, and a beautiful, natural setting, creating a reliable and comfortable environment for day-to-day horse care. Whether you’re riding casually or competing regularly, Northwood is designed to support a consistent routine without overcomplicating the experience.
Northwood offers access to a fully fenced 200x100 ft arena with an M10 base, perfect for schooling or casual riding. Explore nearly one mile of private wooded trails right on the property — a peaceful escape for both horse and rider. Two indoor wash stalls and one outdoor wash rack are also available for your convenience.
The farm includes 18 well-maintained dry stalls, with hay and grain storage included. Boarders have access to four fenced pastures, each over two acres and seeded with desirable drilled fescue grass — ideal for grazing.
Enjoy a comfortable break room with an office and bathroom, plus two clean air conditioned tack rooms with individual lockers to keep your gear organized. Trailer parking is also available on the property for a small additional fee.
Boarding at Northwood Farm is $450 per month for self-care.
Northwood is Self-care only, meaning owners are responsible for their horse’s daily care, including feeding, turnout, and stall cleaning. This setup allows for a flexible, hands-on approach and gives each owner full control over their horse’s routine.
At this time, we do not offer pasture board!
